Over the last two centuries, about 90% of the world’s millionaires have been created by investing in real estate. So as you can see, owning investment properties is an ideal wealth vehicle.
Not many people know this about me but my first taste of real estate came at a relatively young age. I was 24 years old and had bought my first property, which was a duplex in Barstow, CA. Being the absolute bottom of the real estate market cycle (2010), I was able to pick this property up for only $22,500. After months of renovations and sweat equity, I put two tenants in the property and officially had my first cash-flowing asset.
Fast forward 10 years, I’ve owned numerous commercial and residential properties and am currently an active real estate investor here in San Diego County. Not to mention, I’ve participated in real estate auctions, short sales, foreclosures, tax deed sales, apartments, development projects, and mobile home parks.
Currently sitting on the Board of Directors for the North San Diego Real Estate Investors Association, I’m constantly surrounded with some of the finest investment minds in the County.
So how can all this translate to you, my clients? Well if you’ve ever been interested in learning about real estate investing I have numerous resources at your disposal. Further, if you have some extra cash or tired money sitting in a retirement account somewhere that you’d like to start earning a return on, we should talk. I always have an interesting investment opportunity coming across my desk.
By now you can tell I love real estate. But I also love coffee. Interested in investing? Let’s grab a cup and chat.
